FORMED in 1993 and headed by chartered surveyor and experienced project manager, we are a private company that is gaining a fine reputation in all market sectors for delivering projects on time and within budget.
We are interested in clients who are looking for a full project management package.

MCKEATING Builders offer clients first-class workmanship allied to a genuine caring attitude to reflect clients’ interests, needs, concerns and dreams for their projects.
We really do care for our clients.
Our approach is to engage with them and advise every step of the way – from their initial idea, through planning issues, design phases and construction programmes to the ultimate delivery of their vision. We are involved with them from start to finish in a form of partnership few companies are prepared to undertake.
A project may be in our hands, but the client is kept constantly up to speed on progress or any developments affecting it.
Whether it is providing planned or reactive maintenance services, project management using sub-contractors or design services, our aim is to do things right the first time by setting realistic goals that we outline and go through with our clients.
That way we clearly establish realistic expectations for clients and then do our utmost to exceed them on time and within an agreed budget through our commitment to superior service backed by experience and a will to do the best job possible.
THE TEAM
UNDOUBTEDLY, our strength lies in team work - that’s characterised by skills, workmanship and an eye for detail from our well-mannered, professional field crews in matching McKeating Builders’ clothing.
A valuable team spirit exists as our joiners, plasterers and ground workers are all employed directly by the company. Some have been with the company for over ten years - and now their sons are joining the team.
They are all fully qualified in their trades and, in the case of our younger members, they go through a Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) apprenticeship.
As members of the CITB all of our staff have a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) registration card showing all individual qualifications, including those for Health and Safety.
Our ground workers are also approved to work in petrol stations and similar installations, again demonstrating the breadth of services we can reliably offer.
We are Construction Licensing Executive (CLE) accredited and members of Scottish Building, the Federation set up over 100 years ago to promote the Scottish building industry. We regularly attend its health and safety awareness programmes.
Liam McKeating is a Quantity Surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors; Office Manager Anna Beaton’s background is in law accountancy and she has trained with the Hilton Group of Hotels while Company Secretary, Tracey McKeating has managed retail outlets, leisure facilities and airline check-in systems.
It’s a strong team determined to build a client’s vision.
